Guidelines for the centers in relation to the Coronavirus pandemic

 Dear all,

I am sure that we are all following the latest news related to the coronavirus pandemic. All educational and cultural centers are to be closed from 12th March to 25th March. With this in mind, we recommend that all the Buddhist centers take necessary steps to slow down the spread of the virus.
In particular, we recommend suspending until further notice:
-common meditations in the centers,
-all practices, courses or meetings,
-organization of public lectures,
-cooking together,
-offering sleeping places for non-residents.
Moreover, we ask you not to bring children to the centers and to refrain from visiting centers if you are, or you suspect that you might be, sick.
At the moment we do not recommend a complete lockdown of our centers.

This is particularly important in big city centers, such as Warszawa, Gdańsk, Wrocław, Łódź, Kraków, Poznań, Katowice, Lublin.

Hand sanitizers and other hygiene and disinfection products should be available for everybody to use in all centers. We should also observe, that people coming back from Italy, Germany, Spain, France or other countries, listed by the Chief Sanitary Inspector, refrain from coming to the centers, even if they feel good.

Depending on local situations, the management boards of the centers should take every relevant precaution and try to make the best decisions, even if they seem too cautious and they should follow the recommendations and guidelines of the Chief Sanitary Inspector and cooperate with local authorities. In the case of local authorities guidelines, the centers should strictly follow them, without exceptions.

On behalf of the Management Board
